It has been a bit more than 2 weeks since I started stumbling around in monovision. The clinic fit me with extended wear that I can live in for 2 weeks at a time. I then remove and throw them out. When my 2 weeks was up I went back to buy the actual set as instructed. Typical for Brazil, no one planned ahead and they did not have my prescription in stock. It took them 2 days to call me back and I was refitted today. Unfortunately it is just like starting over. I stumbled out of the shopping center and was afraid to do much walking. I decided to adapt to my sealegs in front of the store windows, spending lots of money as I fumbled my way home.
