A warm Ann Arbor Evening

This is a sweet town that has maintained its heart. Beautifully restored shops line the crisscross streets. The offerings are definitely high end and artsy. On Friday nights during the summer the shops are open later than the normal closing time and restaurant goers shop while waiting for seating at lovely sidewalk cafes.

I took Brooke and Shannon to a nice italian restaurant to have our standard "girls dinner." A bottle of Brut Veuve Clicquot and a lovely assortment of appetizers. Last night we ate rissoto, green salad, calamari and vine ripened tomatoes piled with camembert cheese and herbs. We finished off the night with icecream sundaes at a fine little icecream shop.
